UNIBEN VC CUP UPDATES




The 2017 Vice- Chancellor Inter Faculty games date has been released.

The meeting held on the 30th of May 2017 by the University of Benin Sports Director Dr .Mrs F.I Egbase , the 14 faculties Students director of Sports, the S.U.G director of Sports, faculty Sports officers and Coaches started about 4pm with important issues been delighted including notification of the various sports that will be contested by faculties at this year games. The Sports includes Athletes, Basketball , Chess , Volleyball ball, Cricket, hand ball, tennis , table tennis, hockey , Tae kwondo, Judo , Football, scramble , and badminton.

However football will kick start the tournament on the 6th of June , but the opening ceremony is scheduled to hold 12th of June 2017, with the draws of the football fixtures already drawn seeing faculty rivals Faculty of Art, Social Science , and Management Science all drawn in group D called the group of Death, Group A has faculty of Physical Science, Collage of Medicine, Basic Medical Science and Faculty of Engineering. Group B , faculty of Agric , Law , Education and Faculty of Pharmacy will have a love feast , and Group C we see faculty of Life Science tackle Dentistry and new born faculty Environment Science faculty ..._

This year closing ceremony is scheduled to hold June 16th 2017.

We shall give you more updates  on the Opening and closing ceremony arrangement proper on the Special guest expected to grace the occasion with the company of our amiable Vice - Chancellor  Prof F.F.O Orunmwense and his principal officers.
